Overview

CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Water/Wastewater/CSO Project Manager with client relationships and appropriate technical experience in either our Parsippany, NJ or Syracuse, NY office.

Responsibilities

  • Obtain new clients and manage existing client base.
  • Handle work plan development, execution, and monitoring.
  • Serve as a mentor to technical staff.
  • Actively manage client’s budget, schedule and program for water, wastewater, combined sewer overflow, wet weather, and stormwater projects
  • Coordinate with clients to define work, program, schedule and budget.
  • Provide leadership in project pursuit strategy development and implementation to win select opportunities and targets.
  • Actively manages CHA’s project budget, schedule, planning, coordination, quality and delivery.
  • Manage project communications and documentation.
  • Supervise, develop, evaluate and assign work to staff members.
  • Work closely with other disciplines on multi-discipline projects.
  • Estimate fees, determine scope of work, prepare proposals and contracts on projects.
  • Satisfy client requirements.
  • Coordinate work efforts and review work performed.
  • Manage all aspects of multiple projects
  • Responsible for annual net revenue and profitability for projects assigned.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Recognized internally & externally as an expert within his/her discipline.
  • Has an extensive professional network, project management and new work won track record, and current relationships with local and regional clients.
  • Sustainably grow the water, wastewater, CSO submarkets through on-going business development efforts, working closely with business development, and staying abreast of trends in the marketplace.
  • Has excellent technical design knowledge and project management experience on water, wastewater, CSO, treatment, collection, distribution projects to meet client expectations and regulatory requirements. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
  • 10+ years of progressive technical and managerial experience in the Water/Wastewater market required.
  • P.E. required.
  • Technically astute and strategic in thinking to properly position the market for strong financial performance.
