Novara GeoSolutions, a CHA Company, is looking for a highly-driven, accomplished and dynamic Utility and Pipeline Sales Executive to join our team.

 

The successful candidate will join an existing team of experienced industry staff and be responsible for the sale of software and services across the utility, energy and pipeline industries. Aside from executing the tactical sales process for your assigned accounts, you will be expected to devise, communicate and successfully drive strategies that result in new leads, customer wins and revenue for the Company. This is an exciting opportunity for an assertive, highly motivated, sales oriented person with strong industry knowledge and /or comparable experience, to join a fast-paced, growth oriented company. Responsibilities

  • Driving the sales of Novara GeoSolutions software and associated services.
  • Meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Managing all aspects of the sales cycle including: prospecting, sales campaign/meetings, negotiation, opportunity closure and account management.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive account/territory plan to drive revenue and market share including: targeting prospects, conducting customer site visits etc.
  • Writing and presenting proposals including; identification of software needs, documenting the Statement of Work and associated Professional Services.
  • Leveraging partners and existing customers to support sales efforts.
  • Developing a thorough understanding of our products and associated service offerings.
  • Understanding the value proposition and key business challenges facing prospective customers.
  • Use of our CRM (Salesforce) to document information used in standard sales reports, such as, weekly forecasts, pipeline, funnel, monthly progress, business plans, and expense reports on a regular and timely basis.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of enterprise software sales experience.
  • Must have a PROVEN track record of results in selling Enterprise level software (that can be verified via W-2s).
  • Must have experience in selling to Enterprise level prospects.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with and at the "C-Level".
  • Experience in the utility, energy or pipeline space is highly desired.
  • Experience with Geospatial and/or asset management software is highly desired.
  • Demonstrated ability to participate effectively as part of and within a team atmosphere required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to speak publicly to groups, and create and deliver effective, polished presentations.
  • Must have strong territory and contact management skills.
  • Must have strong consultative and solution selling skills.
  • Must have strong relationship orientation.
  • Must have high energy level, high degree of integrity, self-motivated, positive attitude, proactive approach to work, confidence.
  • Must be willing to travel up to 50% of the time.
