CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Senior Level Project Architect for Concord, MA or Albany, NY. CHA’s sports design group, a nationally recognized leader in indoor and outdoor sports facilities for colleges and universities, produces high quality architectural design solutions for premier higher education clients up and down the east coast. We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our team. We work in a tight knit and collaborative manner and are looking for the right person to join our collegial and dedicated group.

  • Leads teams through construction documents, personally participating in drawings development, coordinating engineers, code review, contact with the client, and on-site supervision.
  • Works collaboratively and effectively within a team and client interaction skills are key aspects of the job.
  • Construction administration skills include shop drawing review, requisition review, contractor interaction, and other activities.


  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant experience with architectural firms is required; Sports Facilities experience a plus.
  • Registered Architect licensure is preferred, LEED accreditation a plus
  • Experience preparing construction documents for large buildings.
  • Project leadership, project management, and design leadership experience a plus.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and Revit.
  • Photoshop, Sketch Up and PowerPoint skills a plus. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, excellent interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Candidate must have a strong ability to work and lead in a team environment.
  • Ability to travel.
