Senior Industry Manager will serve as a lead consultant in the specified segment and play a substantial role in helping to define solutions and drive sales opportunities.  In this highly visible role, this individual will be responsible for serving as the subject matter expert for the specified market and working closely with a wide variety of constituents to ensure industry credibility across the company.  This role requires him/her to become an expert on the company’s products, clients and the competition and to marry this knowledge with his/her industry expertise so as to communicate the value of our products to the marketplace.  In addition, this individual will be expected to collaborate with product management, technical marketing, and the delivery teams to ensure strong alignment across the organization.




  • Provide sales support – The Senior Industry Manager with assist with the creation of presentations and providing guidance on the creation of industry specific demonstrations. 
  • Identify key industry issues – This individual will share the issues affecting the industry internally, which can allow for the company’s software product to support those key pain points within the sector. 
  • Publish technical articles – He/she should be known in the industry and write on the industry.
  • Establish and maintain a strong external network – The Senior Industry Manager will want to have strong relationships with industry leaders, policy makers, CEO’s, and dedicated partners in the sector.
  • Share technical knowledge with internal staff – He/she will share knowledge, industry trends, and key facts and figures internally so as to raise the overall level of the software staff’s credibility.



  • Bachelor’s Degree in Software Engineering Required
  • At least 10 years of industry experience in an operational role.
  • Experience implementing or consulting on the implementation of enterprise software systems within the specific industry.
  • Must have strong reputation as an industry influencer with a portfolio of white papers and speaking engagements that can be cited.
  • Demonstrated ability to participate effectively as part of and within a sales oriented team atmosphere required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to speak publicly to groups, and create and deliver effective, polished presentations.
  • Must have strong relationship orientation, including an extensive list of industry contacts.
  • Must have high energy level, high degree of integrity, self-motivated, positive attitude, proactive approach to work, confidence.
  • Strong decision-making skills and excellent judgment.
