Overview

CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an Entry Level Aviation Engineer for our Cleveland, OH office. This position offers strong growth opportunities in our fast paced learning environment. We are seeknig candidates to immediately fill this position; we will however accept December 2017 graduating candidate resumes.

Responsibilities

The responsibilities include design and construction engineering for airport construction projects including: runways, taxiways, aircraft parking aprons, roadways, utilities, drainage and grading plans, and construction cost estimating. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Corrects mark-ups on drawings provided by engineers
  • Becomes familiar with the company’s and client’s methods, standards, and practices
  • May complete sections of permits
  • Completes field assignments, when appropriate
  • Other related duties, as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required
• 0 years of experience required; 2-3 years of experience preferred
• Must work well with other professional staff in a team environment, be willing to receive and execute tasks as required, and possess excellent interpersonal skills
• Must be familiar in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MS Office including Excel and Word; MS Project or Primavara preferred
• EIT is preferred
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Exhibits a willingness to provide assistance to mid and senior level engineers
• Participation in a professional organization is preferred
• Valid driver's license required
