PDT Architects is a collaborative design office specializing in K-12, C&U, healthcare, multi-family, mixed use, corporate and institutional design clients.

 

PDT Architects is seeking an experienced Project Architect with constructability, detailing, and building science knowledge. We are seeking an individual with a minimum of 5 years of professional experience who demonstrates superior communication and organizational skills. The ideal candidate must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of assembling working drawings for multiple project types. Managing clients, user groups and design teams is a responsibility of this position. Experience in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and SketchUp is required.

Responsibilities

  • Detailing and production using Revit
  • Collaborating with design team
  • Providing design documentation from concept design through contract documents
  • Construction administration experience and ability to follow project through construction to ensure design intent is maintained
  • Responsible for technical resolution and coordination
  • Collaborating with design teams in the K-12, C&U, healthcare, multi-family, mixed use, corporate, and institutional sectors
  • Collaborates with project managers on budgets, schedules, and deliverables
  • Ensures work conforms to PDT quality assurance, quality control, and best practice

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Architecture or equivalent years of experience
  • A minimum of 5 years of production drawing experience
  • Licensed architect or the ability to be licensed within 6 months of hire
  • Demonstrated knowledge of steel frame buildings
  • Experience in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and SketchUp
  • Demonstrates superior communication and organizational skills
  • Experienced in producing contract documents for multiple project types
