CHA Tech Services is seeking an Administrative Assistant professional for onsite support at a client site located in Selkirk, NY.

  • Assists department staff with filing, meeting notes and general office administration tasks
  • Prepares business correspondences & mailings
  • Opens, sorts and distributes mail
  • Assists with purchases for group or office
  • Assists with BST Timecard and expenses for staff
  • Assists with travel arrangements
  • Assist Office Leader(s) with planning office events, budgets, building needs/ equipment, and other staff relation duties as needed
  • Arranges and sets up conference calls/web meetings
  • Works in the Computerized Management System; enters data, performs audits, and coordinates document workflow
  • Creates and manages spreadsheets in MS Excel and MS Access
  • Creates and edits Microsoft Word documents and Microsoft PowerPoints as needed
  • Performs a range of staff and/or operational support activities, sometimes serving as a liaison with other departments on basic administrative matters
  • Preparation for meetings and trainings including scheduling, preparing handouts, and coordinating lunches


  • Required:

    • High School Diploma required
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written required
    • Experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office applications is required, specifically MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint
    • Must have ability to work with multiple managers and support multiple employees
    • Must be customer service driven, and have the ability to handle multiple tasks and possess excellent organization skills
    • Must possess a high level of professionalism
    • Experience handling confidential information required


    • Associates degree preferred
    • 3 years of administrative support experience preferred
    • Experience in the construction or engineering industry preferred, but not required
