  • Overview

    CHA Consulting, Inc., is currently seeking a Transportation Project Manager in our Indianapolis, IN office location to manage transportation projects, manage relationships with existing clients and work with market leadership to develop new clients.


    • Management of scope, budget, and schedule on assigned projects.
    • Works with technical staff on assigned projects including design direction and QA/QC of deliverables.
    • Development of proposals, presentations, and qualifications to help secure new work.
    • Development of scope, budget, and schedule for new projects.
    • Contract execution and management.
    • Manages sub-consultants and subcontractors, including review of invoices.
    • Maintains communication with clients to ensure client satisfaction.
    • Reviews invoices to client and develop reporting necessary as part of invoice process.
    • Attends client functions, conferences, and external events to develop client relationships and develop project leads.
    • Reports to supervisor regarding status of project schedule, budget, invoicing, and client satisfaction.
    • Professional interaction and contribution in a collaborative team environment.
    • Responsibilities will also include project and task management, and assisting in assuring adherence to department technical policy and procedures as well as mentoring of junior staff.


    • Bachelor's degree is Civil Engineering required.
    • 7+ years related experience in bridge design, highway design, and/or traffic engineering.
    • PE required, or ability to attain through reciprocity from another state.
    • Active participation with professional organizations/societies preferred.
    • Proficiency with MS Office.
    • Strong verbal and written communications skills.
    • Experience working in a collaborative team environment.
