  • Overview

    CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an Entry Level Utility Engineer or Systems Analyst for our client site in Hopedale, MA (the greater Boston area).

    Responsibilities

    • Field survey of electric distribution networks.
    • Data entry & analysis.
    • Design in the field of power distribution.
    • New service and third-party coordination.
    • Interpretation of as-built documents for an existing client.
    • Production of construction drawings and supporting documentation.
    • Some travel is required (10%).

    Qualifications

    Required:

     

    • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a closely related degree is preferred; at minimum an associate’s degree is required.
    • Must have experience using Microsoft Office.
    • Must have ability to learn Work Management systems, GIS, and SAP.
    • Ability to work in fast-paced and team/group environments.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
    • Excellent organizational skills required.
    • Ability to walk/stand for long periods of time in various weather conditions required.
    • Valid US driver’s license required.
    • Ability to travel locally/in New England required.

     

    Preferred:

     

    • Experience with power distribution is preferred.
