  • Overview

    CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to join our downtown Atlanta, GA office. 

     

    Schedule:

    • 32 hours per week (M-F)
    • Must work Monday but flexible on the off day
    • 8:00 AM/8:30 AM – 4:30 PM/5:00 PM schedule

    We’re seeking candidates who have strong customer service skills and who are interested in supporting a great team. This position offers parking fully paid for by the company next to our office building.

     

     

    Responsibilities

    • Assists Project Managers and Engineers with project chargeable tasks.
    • Prepares business correspondences & mailings.
    • Opens, sorts and distributes mail.
    • Assists with purchases for group or office.
    • Assists with BST Timecard and expenses for staff.
    • Assists with travel arrangements.
    • Orders business cards.
    • Assist Office Leader(s) with planning office events, budgets, building needs/ equipment, and other staff relation duties as needed.
    • Prepares PowerPoint presentations.
    • Provides on-boarding support to new hires.
    • Arranges and sets up conference calls/web meetings.
    • Orders and delivers lunches and handouts for meetings.
    • Filing, scanning and archiving documents as needed.
    • Obtains and distributes keys, parking stickers or security badges for the building.
    • Maintains office credit card for purchases.
    • Deals with moderate to highly complex administrative issues.
    • Assists with spec manuals.
    • Obtains proposal numbers and types letter proposals.
    • prepares standard subcontract agreements.
    • Assists Project Managers with license renewals and professional license applications.

    Qualifications


    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma is required.
    • Minimum of 2 years of related experience required.
    • Must be customer service driven.
    • Knowledge of MS Office applications is required, specifically MS Word and Excel.
    • Must be able to handle multiple tasks and be able to prioritize workload. 
    • Must have excellent organization skills.
    • Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.  
    • Professionalism and confidentiality is a must. 

    Preferred:

    • Experience working in the engineering or construction industry is a plus.
    • Experience handling confidential information preferred.
