CHA Tech Services (CHATS), the construction services affiliate of CHA Consulting, Inc., is currently seeking an Assistant Construction Project Manager to join our Norwell, MA office (greater Boston area).
Assists in administration of contractors.
Assists in assembly of bid packages and solicitation of work.
Assists in project scheduling.
Assists in maintaining the project budget.
Assists in all other aspects of the project.
Works with multiple project managers assisting on multiple projects, both small and large.
Performs moderate design/construction tasks, prepares portions of project documents, performs research and investigations.
The position will include training in all aspects of project management and in field management of subcontractors.
The job will include work in the office and in the field.
0 years of relevant project management experience with a construction background required (see preferred qualifications).
Experience using Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, and Excel is required.
Good verbal and written communication skills are required.
Valid US driver's license required.
Ability to physically navigate field and work outdoors in various weather conditions.
Must have ability to travel to client sites as needed.
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field highly preferred.
1 year of relevant project management experience with a construction background preferred.
Internship in construction, construction work experience, and/or construction coursework highly preferred.
Experience with a scheduling software program is a plus.
