    CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a BIM Designer to join our Blacksburg, VA office. 

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Organizes and maintains project Revit models.
    • Revit model management including initial project set ups.
    • Coordination with water/wastewater, civil, architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical models.
    • Revit file management including background creations and sheet set ups.
    • Assists organizing, compiling and transmitting project deliverables.
    • Participates in the development, implementation, and execution of the Water/Wastewater Technical Group’s Building Information Modeling (BIM) initiative.
    • Provides on-going REVIT modelling support for the Water/Wastewater Technical Group.
    • Works with project teams regarding BIM best practices.
    • Performs other related duties, as assigned.

    EDUCATION AND LICENSURE

    • Associate’s degree required. 

    SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • 3+years of related technical experience required.
    • Experience from Autodesk Revit coursework and certifications preferred.
    • Proficient in Revit software platforms; proficient in Revit MEP preferred.
    • Must demonstrate proven ability to organize, produce and coordinate documents and models.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Good interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work well in a team environment and with senior level staff.
