    CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Project Coordinator for our Transportation Group in our Colonie, NY office. 


    The Project Coordinator will report to the Project Management Section Manager in the Transportation Operations Group and will be a resource to Transportation Project Managers in the New York and New England regions, as well as a resource to the Transportation Operations Group.  Duties include:


    • Assist Project Managers and Proposal Coordinators during the pursuit and proposal stages by assisting with proposal development and writing, coordination of technical group inputs, updating qualifications/resumes, and coordinating proposal document delivery.
    • Assist Project Managers and Technical Task Managers in project setups, including coordination of technical group inputs for scope and fee, budget and schedule setups, and the preparation of project plans, quality plans/checklists, and health and safety plans.
    • Assist the Project Managers with development of contracts, notice to proceeds, certificate of insurance, as well as assistance with development and management of subcontracts and subconsultant contracts.
    • Assist Project Managers and Technical Task Managers in project scope execution, including maintaining project schedules, tracking labor expenditures, attending project coordination meetings, preparation of client invoices packages, assistance with collections activities, etc.
    • Assist Project Managers and Market Leaders in backlog forecasting and pipeline updates.
    • Assist with the project closeout process, and project archiving.
    • Assist the Operations Team in forecasting and reporting of group financials, assisting in project financial reviews, and monitoring project performance.


    • Associate’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering or related degree required.


    • 3+ years of experience in Project Administrative, Coordinator or a similar assistant project management role required.
    • Understanding of project management process of ascertaining work, executing work, and post-project procedures.
    • Understanding of business systems, financial tracking and other project management systems.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office software required.
    • Excellent written, oral, presentation, communication, organizational, and computer skills.
    • Strong ability to function successfully in team environment.
    • Ability to work remotely with team members in other offices and regions. Occasional travel to Connecticut, New Hampshire and Massachusetts may be required.
    • Ability to coordinate with several individuals as well as work on a variety of projects simultaneously.
