    CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an Assistant Systems Analyst for our Albany, NY office. This position offers opportunities to grow as well as a teamwork oriented environment. This is an entry level position. 

     

    The Assistant Systems Analyst is responsible for completing tasks including but not limited to: learning the client's GIS design systems and construction standards, data entry and analysis of electric distribution networks with our client(s), and understanding system issues and the appropriate following steps.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Completes field surveys of electrical distribution networks.
    • Data entry and analysis.
    • Production of construction drawings and supporting documentation.
    • Third-party coordination with telephone company representatives.
    • Travel to field work sites for data collection.
    • Interpretation of as-building documents for existing client(s).
    • Some travel required.

    EDUCATION AND LICENSURE

    • Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

    SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

    • 0 years of experience is required; we will accept entry level resumes for this position.
    • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite is required.
    • Must have ability to learn Work Management systems and SAP.
    • Must have ability to work in fast-paced and team/group environments.
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
    • Excellent organization skills required.
    • Ability to work/stand for long periods of time in various weather conditions required.
    • Valid US driver's license required.
    • Ability to travel locally/in New England required.
    • Coursework or internship in power distribution, telephone/communications, and/or utilities preferred.
    • Experience using GIS is preferred.
    • AutoCAD experience preferred.
    • Experience using Work Management systems is preferred.
