    CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Business Development Manager in our Aviation Market for our New York City Office.


    The Business Development Manager will be responsible for developing and sustaining new, and on-going client relationships within the Aviation Market.  This individual will drive growth and sustainability of the metro New York City region through on-going business development efforts, working closely with the Market Leader, and staying abreast of trends in the marketplace and appropriate geography.  Additionally, the Business Development Manager will have some responsibility for technical execution of projects within his/her discipline; regardless of size or complexity. 


    • Identify and develop new client relationships within regional market.
    • Maintain and grow existing client relationships in the region.
    • Develop and implement a regional business plan and execute the overall strategic goals for the regional market.
    • Prepare annual budget for sub-market; monitoring financial performance and providing reports and updates regularly to determine any changes necessary.
    • Meet a utilization goal through overseeing and managing work on billable projects.
    • Travel is required.


    • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
    • Professional technical licensure (i.e. Architecture, Engineering, Landscape Architecture) preferred.


    • Minimum of 10 years relevant industry experience required.
    • Technically astute and strategic in thinking to properly position the market for strong financial performance.
    • Strong understanding and knowledge of the Aviation Market as well as the adaptability for future services offered.
    • Articulate and persuasive communicator, both one-on-one and in front of large groups.
    • High energy, results-oriented, resourceful leader who can establish himself/herself as a credible strategic member of management within the company.
    • Demonstrated ability to resolve matters that arise within the market.
    • Proven business development results.
