CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking Entry Level Electrical Engineers to join our various office locations across North America and Canada!

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Participate in electrical engineering and design for buildings, manufacturing facilities, water and wastewater plants, airport facilities, correctional facilities, and sporting event venues. Systems to be designed include power (critical, life safety, emergency), lighting, data communications, fire alarm, security, and integrated process control systems.
  • Interface with clients and other engineering disciplines as well as electricians and contractors during construction.  
  • Performs simple & routine tasks assigned at the direction of a mid or senior level engineer using the standards set by the company, group, client, etc.
  • Corrects mark-ups on drawings provided by engineers.
  • Becomes familiar with the company’s and client’s methods, standards, and practices.

EDUCATION AND LICENSURE

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
  • Engineer In Training (EIT) certification is preferred.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • No prior Engineering experience required; however, applicable coursework or internship/cooperative learning experience preferred.
  • Experience with Revit and AutoCAD is a plus.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
  • Knowledge of National Electrical Code (NEC) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes is a plus.
