CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking Entry Level Architects to join our various office locations across North America and Canada!

 

In this role individuals will perform routine architectural assignments under direct supervision of a licensed Architect and will receive specific and detailed instructions regarding tasks and expected results. They will perform entry-level architectural assignments, works from the designs of others, has a familiarity in planning and design, and a willingness to learn and develop.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Prepare design and production documents.
  • Coordinate with consultants.
  • Take the lead in development and improvement of master specifications through cross-training.
  • Prepare project specific project manuals.
  • Coordinate project manuals with consultants.
  • Maintain and update industry standards and products.
  • Develop specification best practices and sustainability goals.
  • Work collaboratively with peers in a team environment.
  • Manage multiple tasks and self-check work.

EDUCATION AND LICENSURE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Architecture is required; Master’s degree preferred.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • No prior experience required; however, applicable coursework and internships/cooperative learning preferred.
  • Microsoft Office experience required.
  • Sketchup, Photoshop and PowerPoint skills preferred.
  • Understanding of the preparation of construction documents, building systems, engineering systems coordination.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
