OVERVIEW

CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a REVIT Designer to join our Infrastructure – Aviation Design group in Any CHA Office.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The REVIT Designer assists with the research, preparation, and creation of various types of contract or construction drawings and documents. At CHA, our REVIT Designer collaborates with design teams on multiple projects in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet client, contractual and company requirements.

 

The REVIT Designer develops the ability to independently establish simple or routine contract drawings. The REVIT Designer attains knowledge of the engineering discipline standards, codes, and systems through assisting with contract document preparation, and examines contract documents or drawings for errors. The REVIT Designer uses drawing production software (REVIT, AutoCAD, MicroStation etc.) to create construction documents.

EDUCATION AND LICENSURE

  • Associates Degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Engineering Science or related technical field is required

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience of document production experience in the related engineering discipline
  • Proficient with discipline-based software (REVIT, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)
  • Demonstrates a good working knowledge about the respective engineering discipline
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences
  • Strong work ethic and desire to work in a collaborative team environment with the willingness to assist senior staff
