CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an Entry Level Electrical Engineer to join our Aviation Design Business Practice in our Albany, NY; Rochester, NY; or Indianapolis, IN office locations.

Working closely with professional engineers, the Entry Level Electrical Engineer assists in the design development, implementation, and technical analysis of various systems to implement new products, or changes to an existing scheme, to suit individual client needs. At CHA, our Entry Level Electrical Engineer works on multiple projects in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet client, contractual and company requirements.
The Entry Level Electrical Engineer aids in preparing technical reports, contract documents and cost estimates for various engineering tasks. This individual performs simple calculations and engineering design using the standards established by federal, state, and local regulations, as well as the company, group, client, etc. The Entry Level Electrical Engineer solves routine problems by applying defined procedures and attends field assignments when appropriate.
Working in the Aviation Sector will involve the design of airfield lighting, approach lighting, Navigational Aids (NAVAIDS) and other relevant electrical systems in use at airfields. The Entry Level Electrical Engineer will also be involved with power, lighting, and systems at airport facilities.
