OVERVIEW

CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Aviation Section Manager to join our Aviation Design Business Practice located in our Indianapolis, IN office

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The Aviation Section Manager will be responsible for working directly with clients and their staff, managing projects and leading a team of engineers, designers, and technicians to deliver high-quality services to CHA’s aviation clients. This individual will be measured on the delivery of our work product and the overall growth and development of the assigned staff.  The Aviation Section Manager will organize, direct and coordinate activities associated with the project scope of work either individually or collectively with their staff. The candidate will work with a team of designers, engineers, planners, and technicians primarily located in the Indianapolis, IN office with opportunities to support other aviation clients and teams throughout CHA’s national network of offices.

EDUCATION AND LICENSURE

  • A Bachelor's degree is required or an equivalent combination of education and professional experience.

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3 years of experience is required. Previous project or team management experience preferred.
  • An Aviation Section Manager I will manage a team of 3 or more direct reports.
  • Aviation, Engineering, or Airport Operations experience preferred.
  • Technically astute and strategic in thinking to manage the activity within the team
  • People Management experience is preferred.
  • A high energy, results-oriented, resourceful leader.
  • Ability to cultivate, inspire, motivate, and manage relationships across the company.
  • Experience with project budgeting preferred.
