CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Construction Inspector to join our Water and Wastewater team located at client site in Front Royal, VA.


CHA has developed thousands of water-related projects, each considering our clients' unique environmental, water quality, permitability, and funding concerns. Our water and wastewater management offerings include full engineering and support services for industrial and municipal wastewater treatment systems from initial planning through permitting, design, bidding, construction administration, start-up, certification, and ongoing operational assistance.


The Construction Inspector is responsible for observing and documenting the construction of airports, highways and streets, sewer and water systems, dams, bridges, building and building systems (HVACR, electrical, plumbing, security, and communication systems), and other structures and facilities.

  • High School Diploma or GED required, Associate’s degree in Engineering Technology or related field preferred.
  • Valid US driver's license required
  • 2 years of relevant experience required
  • Able to comprehend construction plans and specifications
  • Understands and follows company standards, demonstrates knowledge of construction techniques, and assists mid to senior level team members with complex projects
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Strong mathematics skills
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Strong ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Travel to and from project sites required.
