Responsibility connects us, empowers us, binds us to our community, and challenges us to do what is right. Clean water, safe roads, efficient energy, resilient power sources, and buildings that enhance their surroundings – these are significant responsibilities we take to heart.

At CHA, we believe in responsibly improving the world we live in, and we ask our team to aspire to that ideal every day. At the foundation of our responsibility is our commitment to inclusion and diversity and choosing to treat everyone with dignity and equality. We also take accountability for making decisions that promote sustainability in our business and our designs. We are on a mission to reduce our environmental footprint and bring greener solutions to our clients. We believe it is our responsibility and work to do that each day.

We are currently seeking a Bridge Project Manager to join our Bridge Team located in Miami, FL.

CHA believes our employees should have the time and flexibility to balance work and personal commitments. We offer most employees the option of a hybrid schedule with a work week that includes both office and work from home days

CHA’s bridge professionals incorporate collaborative and diverse thinking with practical and cost-effective designs that responsibly improve mobility and safety. We have inspected, designed, managed, and overseen the construction of a wide array of grade separated crossings, retaining systems, and conveyance structures throughout the United States.  As the average age of our nation’s bridges nears 50 years, successful bridge projects must balance complex analytics, engineering innovation and context sensitivity with economic prudency and long-term feasibility.

At CHA, our Bridge Project Manager provides advanced judgment and analysis techniques for the design development, implementation and technical analysis of new transportation systems, or changes to an existing facility to suit individual client needs. This key role is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating detailed phases of a project independently with other engineering disciplines and project management staff. The Bridge Project Manager mentors junior staff members and provides technical review of their work as needed.

The Bridge Project Manager recommends the appropriate design alternatives or solution to improve quality or cost-effectiveness of the transportation facility, and selects the proper design procedures, and can self-check their own work for completeness and accuracy in technical reports and calculations, prior to submitting to the lead engineer. The Bridge Project Manager identifies, develops, and gathers technical resources necessary to complete assignments and continuously monitors the progress and performance of the engineering project against the project schedule and budget.
