CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a ITS IT Project Manager to join our Infrastructure - Transportation/Traffic & ITS Team at our office in Miami, FL. 

YOUR IMPACT

CHA’s Traffic and ITS team provides planning, analysis, modeling, and design development to help traffic run smoothly and safely in some of the largest metros in the US. Our team of traffic engineers, transportation planners, and technical staff provides a comprehensive breadth of knowledge and experience in all facets of modal mobility, accessibility, safety, technology, and deployment. From roadside sign inventories and safety audits to the latest intelligent transportation system (ITS) innovations and applications, our professionals are adept at managing the entire design development and implementation process.

 

The ITS IT Project Manager conducts the design development, implementation, and technical analysis of technical various systems to implement new products, or changes to an existing scheme, to suit individual client needs. At CHA, the professional in this role works on multiple projects in a timely and cost-effective manner to meet client, contractual and company requirements.

 

Moreover, the ITS IT Project Manager monitors progress and performance against the project plan and acts immediately to resolve operational problems and minimize delays, as well as recognizes technical discrepancies in analytical results, and makes appropriate corrections. Additionally, the individual in this role identifies, develops, and gathers technical resources necessary to complete assignments.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Traffic Engineering, Engineering Management or a related degree required; Master’s Degree preferred
  • PE or equivalent professional license preferred
  • PMP certification preferred
  • Minimum 5 years' experience required; minimum 3 years' project management experience required
  • Experience preparing proposals, project plans, extra work authorizations and project closeout documents for projects required
  • Experience managing project accounting processes to include project budgeting, forecasts and cash management required
  • Experience understanding and interpreting client contract requirements
  • Ability to track and oversee multiple projects required
  • An articulate and persuasive communicator with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of Deltek Vision preferred
  • Knowledge of MS Project and/or Primavera P6 preferred
  • Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task effectively
  • A self-starter who excels in a high-paced work environment and works well independently
  • Ability to travel as needed required
