CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an HR Generalist to join our Corporate – Human Resources Team at our office in either Colonie, NY or Indianapolis, IN.  

YOUR IMPACT

CHA’s HR Generalists supports specific Sectors within the business, acting as a resource to managers and employees for HR processes, procedures, and polices. This key role on the HR team supports the execution of employee programs and process associated with the entire employee life cycle including but not limited to talent acquisition, onboarding, employee development, rewards and recognition and employee separations.

 

In addition to supporting business Sectors, the successful candidate will work collaboratively with employees and leaders from across CHA to deliver our comprehensive new employee onboarding program. This work will include the design and delivery of New Employee Orientation; serving as first point of contact for all new employees; the planning, scheduling, and follow up for CHA’s 30/60/90-day onboarding program; and the collection and analysis of all new employee surveys.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field; or any combination of education, training and experience that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
  • A minimum of 3 years of human resource experience
  • Positive, optimistic, action-oriented individual with a ‘can-do’ mentality
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven relationship-building ability
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and ambiguous environment
  • Ability to plan, organize and present training activities to diverse employee groups, establish, and maintain effective working relationships with employees
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, & Power Point
  • Knowledge of principles and practices of human resource management, dynamics of employee development and professional growth, and employee engagement programs
  • Knowledge of state and federal labor laws and regulations

SALARY RANGE:

$60,000 - $72,000

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
