CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an Engineering Technician to join our Infrastructure – Water Team at our Charlotte, NC office.

YOUR IMPACT

Clean and safe water and wastewater management is vital for every community’s well-being. CHA delivers environmentally friendly and cost-effective water, wastewater and stormwater projects, handling every step from assessment to planning and design in these critical situations.

 

The Engineering Technician will be responsible for reviewing, tracking, and analyzing CCTV inspection data captured by field crews in water, sewer, and stormwater evaluation projects. The professional in this role will utilize databases to create and maintain accurate records to report to clients, as well as identify defects and/or discrepancies in the data.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High School diploma or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required
  • Experience with Sanitary Sewer Evaluation Surveys a plus
  • Knowledge of basic mathematics and formulas
  • Ability to operate various computer programs associated with sanitary sewer studies a plus
  • Strong ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

SALARY RANGE:

$22.11 - $26.44

 

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
