CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Sprinkler Service Leader to join our Commercial & Institutional – Fire Protection Services Team at our Tampa, FL office.

YOUR IMPACT

CHA Fire Protection Services offers highly specialized fire protection engineering services and cutting-edge solutions to the most challenging fire protection projects. Our knowledgeable staff manages complex industrial, commercial and design/build fire protection projects, including sprinkler systems, fire pumps, ground storage tanks, underground piping, and special hazards.

 

The Sprinkler Service Leader will oversee all aspects of the Service & Inspection Team including scheduling service and inspections, small tenant jobs, as well as gathering and reporting all departmental financial information. The professional in this role will be responsible for supervising all service and inspection field staff including Field Technicians and Inspectors and identifying areas of improvement for training and development to meet current and future business needs. The Sprinkler Service Leader guarantees the client’s requirements are satisfied during installation, inspection, repair, and maintenance of equipment through quality, timely service. This individual must maintain expert knowledge in service and inspection means and methods with the ability to guide and resolve service and manpower issues, as well as ensure compliance with fire codes and other relevant policies and procedures.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in construction management, business management or a related field is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and professional experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of fire sprinkler experience required, with at least 3 years of management experience
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • OSHA-10 certification required
  • Demonstrated knowledge of NFPA 13, 14, 20, and 25, as well as industry standard practices for services and inspections
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to inspire, motivate, build and manage relationships across the company
  • Self-starter who excels in a high-paced work environment and works well independently as well as in a team environment
  • Technically astute and strategic in thinking to manage the activity within the team
  • An articulate and persuasive communicator, both one-on-one and in front of large groups
  • A high energy, results-oriented, resourceful leader
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to suit various audiences
  • Proven ability to manage scope, budget, and schedule of technical tasks including labor estimates
  • Demonstrates a basic understanding of business financial processes
  • OSHA-30 certification preferred
  • NICET Level II certification preferred
  • Backflow certification preferred

SALARY RANGE:

$100,000 - $115,000

 

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
