CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Project Financial Analyst to join our Infrastructure – Sector Finance Team from one of our many office locations including Albany, NY; Hartford, CT; Burlington, MA; or Buffalo, NY.

YOUR IMPACT

CHA's corporate support teams provide vital specialized services to our technical business lines and market teams including, financial, legal, marketing, business development, human resources, information technology and operational services.  These teams may also support clients when their skills and expertise are required.

 

The Project Financial Analyst is a key member of the Sector Finance’s Project Financial Management team and plays a critical role in the successful management of contracts throughout a project’s lifecycle. The professional in this role will provide sound financial counsel for our businesses and project managers and interact with clients to ensure client accounts and receivables are current. The Project Financial Analyst will ensure consistent billing and reporting and will work with various finance and non-finance functions to support controls, account transactions, analyses, project compliance, and audits. This individual may provide mentorship and guidance to junior Project Financial Management team members.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business administration or related discipline required, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum of 4 years of Project Accounting, Cost Accounting, Financial Analysis or similar activity required
  • Understanding of business systems, financial tracking and project management systems
  • Experience working in enterprise accounting systems
  • Experience working with Deltek Vision, SAP, or other ERP system is preferred
  • Exceptional critical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of revenue accounting and invoicing practices
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
  • Strong ability to function successfully in team environment with matrix responsibilities
  • Extremely organized and ability to manage multiple competing priorities
  • Previous work experience in a professional services or project-oriented field
  • Experience in a rapid-paced and high-volume environment

SALARY RANGE:

$32.69 - $37.25

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
