CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Sr. HR Business Partner to join our Corporate – Human Resources Team at our Albany, NY or Boston, MA office.

YOUR IMPACT

CHA's corporate support teams provide vital specialized services to our technical business lines and market teams including financial, legal, marketing, business development, human resources, information technology and operational services.  These teams may also support clients when their skills and expertise are required.

 

The Sr. HR Business Partner develops and executes a people strategy with their business unit – one which is connected to company, business, and HR Team objectives. At CHA, this key role will partner with the broader Human Resources and Talent Acquisition Teams to identify needs and utilize new and existing resources to creatively meet business needs. The professional in this role will provide coaching and advising on various employee experience components such as employee relations, performance management, and labor laws. The Sr. HR Business Partner will serve as a subject matter expert on employee engagement and analyze trends and metrics to develop solutions, programs, and policies.

 

The Sr. HR Business Partner provides guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, and succession planning. Additionally, this role is responsible for creating and executing initiatives to drive extraordinary performance and delivering executional excellence and change management to initiatives such as talent reviews and process improvements.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Human Resources, or related field required
  • 10+ years of experience in Human Resources; at least 5 years in an HR Business Partner role
  • Ability to work in an organization with a culture that moves quickly yet does not sacrifice quality while working in this fast-paced environment
  • Positive, optimistic, action-oriented individual with a ‘can do’ mentality
  • Confident individual with outstanding learning agility who responds to feedback openly, always looking for ways to improve and learn new ways to do things more effectively
  • Strong working knowledge of multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, diversity, performance management, and federal and state respective employment laws
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, & PowerPoint
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven relationship-building ability
  • Well-spoken and provides a professional presence
  • Knows and leverages industry best-practices and trends
  • Has the leadership potential to mentor and possibly manage others
  • Ability to travel occasionally

SALARY RANGE:

$110,000 - $120,000

 

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
