CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Software Quality Assurance Analyst to join our Corporate – Development Team at our Norwell, MA office or working remotely.

YOUR IMPACT

CHA's corporate support teams provide vital specialized services to our technical business lines and market teams including financial, legal, marketing, business development, human resources, information technology and operational services.  These teams may also support clients when their skills and expertise are required.

 

The Software Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for software testing across all the company's software products. The role involves supporting customers and working closely with internal groups to identify and solve system issues and defects. The Software Quality Assurance Analyst will have knowledge of various quality assurance testing practices and the ability to outline and execute quality assurance testing plans. In this role, the individual will work closely with developers, business analysts, other quality assurance analysts, technical support managers, and project managers to improve the company's software products.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree required; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • No prior experience required; however, prior internship(s) and/or applicable coursework preferred
  • Strong understanding of the software development and testing process
  • Experience writing and using automated test scripts and tools
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills - strong ability to document test cases as well as the results of those test cases
  • Ability to work on multiple concurrent projects and efficiently switch between tasks
  • Demonstrated ability to participate effectively as part of a team
  • Experience in the utility, energy or pipeline industry is preferred
  • Knowledge and experience with databases (SQL Server and Oracle) and the Microsoft stack of software development tools preferred

SALARY RANGE:

$32.21 - $38.64

 

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
