CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking an Inspection Sales Representative to join our Commercial & Institutional – Fire Protection Services Team at our Birmingham, AL office.

YOUR IMPACT

CHA Fire Protection Services offers highly specialized fire protection engineering services and cutting-edge solutions to the most challenging fire protection projects. Our knowledgeable staff manages complex industrial, commercial and design/build fire protection projects, including sprinkler systems, fire pumps, ground storage tanks, underground piping, and special hazards.

 

The Inspection Sales Representative is responsible for expanding the client base of the Inspection and Service practice. This key role is focused on identifying, pursuing, securing, and maintaining high-profile, quality clients within the fire protection market, aligned with the business practice’s growth strategy. This individual will identify and develop new business opportunities for fire sprinklers, fire alarm, fire extinguisher, kitchen hood, and exit lighting inspections. This includes attending industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote company services and expand market reach as well as maintaining strong relationships with existing clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.

 

The Inspection Sales Representative will prepare and present proposals, estimates, and bid packages in accordance with company standards while collaborating with design, engineering, and operations teams to ensure accurate project specifications and pricing. Additionally, this role will involve conducting site visits and surveys to evaluate project scope, requirements, and existing system conditions. The Inspection Sales Representative will be expected to provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales cycle and after project completion.

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma required
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales roles
  • Strong estimating skills preferred
  • An articulate and persuasive communicator, both one-on-one and in front of large groups
  • A high energy, passionate, and results-oriented team player
  • Collaborative and highly skillful at building and maintaining effective working relationships throughout the organization
  • Trustworthy with the ability to handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Strong analytical skills, ability to see patterns, be a fast learner/thinker and a good decision maker
  • Ability to work independently, exercise initiative and sound judgement
  • Committed to continuous improvement; ability to anticipate and be forward thinking
  • Committed to an inspired workforce and realizing CHA’s aspiration
  • NICET certifications preferred

SALARY RANGE:

$65,000 - $80,000

 

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
