CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a Construction Manager to join our Infrastructure – Water Team at our Greenville, SC office.

YOUR IMPACT

Clean and safe water and wastewater management is vital for every community’s well-being. CHA delivers environmentally friendly and cost-effective water, wastewater and stormwater projects, handling every step from assessment to planning and design in these critical situations.

 

The Construction Manager will play a crucial role in steering the daily operations of our construction projects, both in the field and in the office, ensuring timely and budget-compliant completion. The professional in this role will effectively coordinate with contractors, engage with clients to ensure their satisfaction, and serve as the single point of contact for construction projects. This key role is responsible for meticulously processing pay applications, generating and managing detailed work orders, and overseeing project controls.

 

The Construction Manager will conduct site visits to ensure compliance with project plans and quality standards, as well as review CCTV footage to make recommendations and monitor construction. Additionally, this individual will provide quality control review of design projects and prepare summary inspection reports, ensuring all technical field issues are resolved.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate’s degree in Engineering Science, Construction Services or related technical field required; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5 years of experience in construction management or a similar role
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and Excel required
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools preferred
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience with project management software preferred
  • Knowledge of safety and quality standards in construction
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • PACP (pipe), MACP (manhole), LACP (lateral) certifications preferred

SALARY RANGE:

$90,000 - $110,000

 

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
