CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Client Project Manager to join our Manufacturing Team at a client site in Bessemer City, NC. In this senior‑level role, you’ll serve as a trusted partner to clients—often working closely with them in operational environments—to guide complex programs from planning through execution. This is an opportunity to lead multi‑project portfolios that support advanced manufacturing operations, energy infrastructure, and facility investments, ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and with long‑term performance in mind.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the senior point of contact for key clients, fostering strong, long-term partnerships and acting as a trusted advisor
  • Lead and oversee complex project portfolios or programs, ensuring consistent delivery, financial performance, and client satisfaction across multiple initiatives
  • Translate client business objectives into executable project strategies across the full lifecycle—from planning and design through construction and closeout
  • Oversee project performance and quality, providing clear, data-driven dashboards, status updates, performance reports, and financial insights to client and internal leadership
  • Track project metrics in order to identify risks early, proactively resolve issues, and implement mitigation strategies to keep projects on track
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align project delivery with organizational strategy, regulatory requirements, and market goals

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering or a related field required, or equivalent combination of experience and licensure
  • Minimum of 11 years of experience required; minimum of 8 years of project management experience required
  • Proven success managing major clients and complex, high‑value project portfolios
  • Strong understanding of project financials, contracts, and client requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and navigate technically challenging project conditions
  • Strong business development acumen with experience supporting account growth and client expansion
  • Experience preparing proposals, project plans, and project closeout documents
  • Experience with Microsoft Office required; familiarity with MS Project, Primavera P6, and Deltek Vision preferred
  • Sharp problemsolving and decision-making skills with the judgment and discretion needed to navigate challenging situations
  • Excellent communication—clear, articulate, and adaptable for different audiences
  • Excellent leadership and relationshipbuilding abilities with a focus on collaboration and client satisfaction
  • Ability to travel as needed required
  • Consulting industry experience highly preferred
  • PMP certification preferred

Salary Range:

$140,000 - $155,000

 

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
