CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a part-time as needed On‑Site Representative to join our PMCM Team and support construction projects in Albany, NY or Syracuse, NY. In this role, you will act as the owner’s trusted on‑site liaison—monitoring daily construction activities, coordinating stakeholders, and verifying work is performed in accordance with plans, schedules, and contract requirements. This is an opportunity to work closely with project managers, designers, contractors, and clients to promote safe, efficient construction and successful project outcomes.

What You'll Do:

  • Serve as the client’s primary onsite representative, providing daytoday field oversight and coordination of construction activities
  • Manage and coordinate daily work of general contractors and ownerretained contractors to maintain progress and schedule alignment
  • Monitor construction quality, safety, and compliance with plans, specifications, and contract documents
  • Maintain continuous communication with owners, project managers, contractors, and design teams to resolve issues and anticipate risks
  • Organize and maintain job sites, field offices, schedules, and comprehensive project documentation
  • Prepare clear, detailed daily reports capturing progress, site conditions, staffing, inspections, and photo documentation
  • Support punch list execution, corrective work oversight, and project closeout activities

What You Bring:

  • High School Diploma required; Associate’s Degree preferred
  • Minimum of 7 years of construction site management experience required
  • OSHA 10-hour certification required; OSHA 30-hour certification preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of public and private construction procurement and processes, construction industry laws, regulations, and best practices
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and contract documents
  • Expert proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel with detailed reported experience required
  • Proven ability to work independently in a fast‑paced field environment
  • Excellent communication, problem‑solving, and relationship‑building skills across diverse stakeholders

Salary Range:

$45.00 - $55.00

 

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
