CHA Consulting, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Reliability Engineer to join our Asset Management Team in Albany, NY. In this role, you will help transform how facilities operate by advancing reliability-centered maintenance approaches, optimizing asset lifecycle performance, and strengthening the systems that keep operations running efficiently. What You'll Do:

  • Provide advanced judgment and analytical expertise to support complex asset reliability strategies, technical assessments, specifications, and contract documentation for manufacturing and industrial systems
  • Plan, schedule, and coordinate detailed phases of reliability and asset management initiatives with cross-functional engineering teams and project management staff
  • Monitor asset performance, system reliability, and project execution to drive operational efficiency and reduce unplanned downtime across critical facilities
  • Deliver reliability and asset management solutions within budget and scheduling constraints, supporting cost-effective, sustainable, and high-performing operations
  • Provide guidance and technical review for junior engineering staff, supporting the development of asset management best practices and reliability-focused methodologies

What You Bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering required
  • Minimum of 4 years of discipline-specific engineering experience required
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred
  • Advanced proficiency in engineering, computational, and modeling software (Revit, AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.), as well as Microsoft Office
  • Strong knowledge of QA/QC procedures, business practices, and engineering laws
  • Proven leadership skills and ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Participation in professional engineering societies/organizations preferred

Salary Range:

$100,000 - $110,000

 

Salary is based on a variety of factors, including, but not limited to, qualifications, experience, education, licenses, specialty, training, and fair market evaluation based on industry standards.
